HI ama125. I hope you are feeling better today. I have not even looked at the news, so I will thank you for your post on BofA.

As I sit quietly rejoicing from the news that they are getting it in the wallet, I am also shaking my head. This is all on paper, and the losses are at the expense of so many, on this forum and not on this foum that have lost everything they have worked for through these blasted numbers. ..

We need change. . . .

I have not read through all of this yet, but looks like an informative report that we should all take a look at...I will be posting this on the general loan mod forum as well:

Ama125

Can we all say it together ..... READY 1 - 2 - 3

THANK YOU AMA125 THANK YOU !

This report tells it like it TRULY IS -

The National Consumer Law Center and Diane Thompson are on our side.

Thank you AMA125 - Yet another one of your AMAZING FINDS !

Perhaps the BEST FIND you have found to date, in that the report clearly explains why the banks / servicers and even the investors are all in collusion to act as one big MALICIOUS MOB of CALCULATING, CONNIVING,COLLUSIVE & SWINDLING CRIMINAL GANGSTERS.

This October 09, NCLC report should be put into mass worlwide dissemination.

THanks AMA that should have been a sepret Post, BUT it is just one more Proof, that no matter what we try to do most of us are DOOMED to Foreclosure, as that would be a bankers best interest, this Trail this and that...Hahahahah:mad:

I saw the Michael Moore film and it left me thinking.... and with a bitter taste in my mouth... Obama as a redentor? I'm not quite sure about that... But hey, he is trying, one could argue. I'm not sure about that either. OK, Capitalism is based on Moore's personal point of view but at least he is someone publicly and openly critizing what's happening with our government. I don't see much about all that in the news, only good news that the economy is starting to pick up and that Michelle Obama is the best dressed woman ever. Very shallow... Of course we all want to believe in that and we don't want to dig our noses. It smells funny down there... but you cannot hide the sun with one finger.

Someone forwarded me the following link. It's is about a realistic sad story here in Miami but that doesn't mean that we ought to ignore all that is happening in our communities. Precisely!!!! Will you cure your cancer by not doing anything? Don't think so... Please if you care about what is happening in the Land of Opportunity, take a look at this article. My question is: Is this the United States of America? WE THE PEOPLE, are we going to let the thieves "legally" steal our country like this?

I'm not being paid by anyone to post this. I'm just like you, a laid-back professional and educated homeowner who made the wrong decision of buying a house, because I thought that was a safe investment, and I'm struggling to make payments and I'm living paycheck by paycheck. If someone gets sick or if there is a tragic episode in my family or in yours, that's it. We'll be just right there... And no, I don't own a big mammoth house or live an extravagant life. I bought something small that I thought I could afford to pay - when there were jobs in this country-. Unemployment rates are up and there are no jobs in the horizon. But how? We don't have an industry to offer jobs. This economy is based in people spending but don't forget there is no money to spend...

I loath to see that we all are one little step from being in these people's same shoes...

Thanks ama. Another good tidbit of info from you, as usual!

This article is crap, crap and more crap.
Desoer blaming their decision to wait to built NPV models is a joke. Fannie has had a model in place for quite some time now. However, I do believe, Fannie provided an option for servicers who had over a certain dollar amount in volume, to create their own NPV model. Funny too how Ms. Desoer has a hard time looking back and saying whether the decision was wrong or right. I have never had a problem with looking back myself. As a small business owner for a number of years, that is how I became more successful. I was able to look back and determine where I made a wrong or a right. I learned by the "wrongs" and made more "rights." Like I said at the beginning of this post. Crap, crap, and more crap.

Okay, I'll give her credit that she knows that families are having to move in together in order to have a roof over her head. I hope this part wasn't fed to her and that she actually witnessed some of the phone calls with the kids in the background. I do not have a problem locating my paystubs. Anyone who is going to take the time to make application for a home loan modification should be able to find their paystubs or stop calling until they have a complete package together. I do believe they probably get a lot of calls from confused homeowners. Perhaps their website could have an easy checklist of how to apply and what to send in. For the people who are not able to go online, they should have the ability to send a packet to.
I hope the business does keep her up at night. The modification process keeps me up at night. And from what I read here.... I am not alone.

RE: Bankers coming to Chicago for convention - They have a terrific PR stunt planned in Glendale Heights - a suburb in DuPage County about 30 miles west of Chicago - all these sympathetic bankers - and specifically BofA - are going to help Habitat work in a foreclosed house there!!!! Reading the article in the Daily Herald just made me sick!

One problem with H4H is you must appraise at 96.5%-105% of mortgage so doesn't help if underwater.
